What Makes the Center for Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health Different?
After years of working within various medical centers, Dr. Young founded the Center for Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health to provide quality care for children, adolescents, and families in the Grand Rapids community. She has experience working with children and families to address concerns related to learning, development, mood, behavior, and other factors. Dr. Young believes in the importance of collaborating with other providers including schools, physicians, and other therapists. This means that she is available to go to your child’s school to observe them in that setting and will attend IEP meetings to help you effectively advocate for your child’s needs. She will also work closely with your child’s physicians to provide guidance in treatment planning. Additionally, Dr. Young provides both assessment and intervention services. A comprehensive assessment provides a customized roadmap to meet your family’s needs, and follow-up therapy and consultation services help to implement recommendations effectively.
